On a personal note... Bev is proud to be a Haligonian, born and raised. Her father was navy and stationed in Halifax where Bev grew up before moving to Montreal where she met her husband whom she married in 1969. He also joined the miltary and they moved to Summerside PEI where their 3 sons were born. Ottawa became home in 1983 with a military posting and the "Thompsons" have happily settled here eversince. Now Ottawa is "home" and Bev enjoys the many benefits this great city has to offer but always makes that trip east every year.
